Delta Robots
Delta style robots are high speed and compact systems. These robots function with a parallel joint geometry, which means the joints equally share the weight and are optimized to handle “plane-to-plane” applications, with up to four axes of motion. They have rotary drive mechanisms that have less wear parts, therefore less maintenance costs. Delta style robots are commonly used for “pick-n-place” applications, where you need to move one part at a time, at a very high speed.
