Heavy Duty Series
The 4HD Integral SCARA is a four-axis robot designed to lift heavy loads (up to a 20 kg payload) and move the load quickly and smoothly for the application needs. The range of motion for these robots is 600mm to 1000mm reach. These robots are sold with one cable that includes four encoder cables, and four power cables at optional lengths. These cables are then connected directly to four Allen Bradley Kinetix™ 2000, Kinetix 6000, or Kinetix 7000 servo drives. SERCOS Interface allows for the robot to be programmed directly through RSLogix 5000 software.
The robot consists of readily available ‘off-the-shelf’ standard components, such as Allen-Bradley® servo motors and sealed planetary gearboxes. This allows for faster replacement of components, reduced down-time, and reduced spare part inventories for the end-users. Sealed planetary gearboxes are used to eliminate the maintenance issues and costs. The mechanical design offers an all-electrical, servo driven system. They also provide a higher end-of-arm tooling inertia capacity and higher payload capacity. All AFAST robot series include the end-of-arm tooling mount fixture, which is pinned and clamped to the z-axis shaft and allow for easy change of tooling. Custom options such as reaches, strokes, guarding, and base size allow you to purchase custom robots for specific applications.
